Connected Raises $500K Seed Funding

Today I wanted to write a short note and announce that we’ve raised a $500,000 round of seed funding led by Trinity Ventures, with 500 Startups, Ignition Partners, Christopher Michel, Michael Hoydich, and Mark Gray participating.

We’re planning to using the new funds to continue to build out and improve Connected‘s services. We’re focused on building a great lightweight social CRM for professionals and small business, and you can expect to see a lot of great new things coming down the pipe.

Since our public launch in February, we’ve been overwhelmed by all of the positive feedback about our business. It’s been incredibly rewarding to hear from users who are delighted to have a life free of data entry, and share our passion for managing their social relationships and conversations. Thank you for all your support!
